Are you in North America or Europe? Do you have an Android phone? Do you use Google Maps Navigation? No? Well, you should because the new Google Maps Navigation(Beta) wants to help you get rid of those depressing traffic snarls that you face every day on your commute to the office.

It utilizes real-time traffic data to understand the traffic conditions, and then shows you the route that’s expected to be clear of any traffic jams, and hence the fastest way to reach your destination. It also generates alternate directions to check all possible routes and show you the shortest route.

Navigation and real-time traffic data are available to Google currently in the countries of North America and Europe, hence this feature would work only in those countries.

But if you are in some other country (like myself), you could always make use of other features of this amazing GPS navigation tool. Here are some of those:

Get almost accurate directions.

There are many other such features that make it a must-have app. Go, try it out.
