Quickly Flip Through the News With Google Fast Flip
Google Fast Flip, launched recently by Google as one of its Labs projects presents a different news reading experience which gives a feel of reading news like flipping the pages of a newspaper online. As you would guess, the news comes from Google News albeit presented in an entirely different way.
The homepage shows a thumbnail view of various news sources or news websites which are organized under tabs named popular, most viewed, recommended and headlines. The sites are also categorized under various sections like politics, business, sports etc and by the news sources (BBC, NY times and more).

As you can see in the above screenshot, you could quickly scroll horizontally by clicking on the arrows to discover more news content.
When you click on a thumbnail, it opens the respective page of the site. You can then quickly go through page by page without the need to click on a link to go to a different page.

Google has also kept in mind the power of social web while creating this tool. It has introduced easy sharing options which let you share news from Google Fast Flip to sites like Twitter and Facebook. You can also quickly email the article from that page.

Overall, it provides a new interface which facilitates faster reading and sharing of news across the internet. Plus, it’s kinda fun to flip through the sites too. What do you think ?
