I’m a weather widget junkie. While in my opinion the best way to tell the weather is by looking out the window, it also helps to get some information from the world’s weather-watchers. Most of this information is already available online for various places in the world through weather.org or other similar places.
But won’t it be great to have weather info integrated into your Google Calendar?
The process only takes a few steps. Assuming you’re already logged into your Google calendar, you first click on the Settings link.
Under General settings, first make sure your country setting is correct.
The under location, specify your town or city, or ZIP code. Note that the City method also works outside of the US, but not the search-by-ZIP. Then select which unit of measurement you prefer — Celsius or Farenheit.
Then after saving, you will notice new buttons added to your Google Calendar interface.
Click these to expand the weather forecast.
