Today it seems like just about everyone is getting into the HD swing of things.  What do we mean?  People are capturing videos in HD or high definition with their handycams and even their phones.  And the same goes for still imaging as well.  In fact, it seems like if you don’t have an HD camera of some kind, you don’t have anything at all!

HD quality is wonderful.  You can see every blade of grass and every drop of sweat.  You can also see every line, wrinkle and imperfection when it’s too close up.  But what isn’t so great about these high quality images is that the files are really, really large.  Sometimes they are even too large to even upload to your online web album.

That’s where the guys over at Picasa come in.  They’ve just made it even easier to add your HD videos and pictures to your Picasa Web Albums.  All of your pictures, HD and other, can now be stored and organized in the same convenient location.  The new specs support HD videos up to 720p.  Remember when it used to be a mere 480p max?

So, now you have no excuse for not sharing your HD videos and pictures online.  Picasa has made it easy, convenient and hassle free.  While we haven’t tried it yet, we’re betting that some of you have.  Let us know how it works out!
