If you have Google Analytics installed on your website, then this is something to take note of.    Google is slowly introducing a new Analytics tracking code for webmasters – but the old existing code will still be valid throughout 2008.    So there’s no need to panic.

The advantage of using the new code is that you can then take advantage of some up-to-date tracking features inside Analytics.

A migration guide (in PDF format) has been released by Google which goes into more detail about the new features available.
