Google Security Tip: Your secret question

One of the neat ways to secure your online experience with any Google product is to create an almost “crack-proof” password. The center of your Google universe is your password. But sometimes, creating an almost “crack-proof” password means you may eventually be a victim of your own doing. I’ve lost my password to frail memory very often, and it would be remembered ten days from when I needed it.

This is where security questions come in.

Security questions validate your identity as the real owner of the account when you can’t remember your password. Here’s how you can modify your security question right now.

Step 1. Log-in to your google account

Step 2. Click on “My Account” located at the upper right portion of the screen

Step 3. Click on “Change Security Question”

Step 4. Fill in the form.

Step 5. Click “save”

So next time you forget your password, you can just use the “forget password” link, which will ask for some details, like your security question. No more brain-wracking just to remember that oft-forgotten password.
