Google Feedfetcher subscriptions up 1000%

I’m looking for a little help here from the blogging/rss/feedburner gurus out there — anyone else seeing a very significant bump in Google Feedfetcher ‘subscribers’ starting last Friday?

I’m asking because our Feedfetcher subscribers jumped by 1000% or so on Friday and I don’t see any indication as to why. It seems to be staying that way too. I don’t see any noticable spike in traffic that would have caused this, and I haven’t found any new high profile links that may have caused it either.

How can this happen? 1000% is a huge jump out of the blue…is Google messed up, or did the our feed get added as a default choice somewhere or something?

Any ideas how to track down the source of this? Anyone else seeing this in your Feedburner stats?
