    Hi. My husband thinks he's found why I'm having trouble with the Shared Items Post plugin. Please check out his comments:

    "The check_refresh() function doesn't seem to provide any solutions for request concurrency; in high traffic sites where many people could be accessing the site at the same time, the check_refresh() function could return 'true' multiple times. I suggest using the wp-cron feature for that function, as it ensures a single call per period."

    Had the same problem a few times now. The first time it was three posts but this morning a whopping 725 posts were published (over the course of four hours) and I think that is a bit much!

    I suspect it is in combination with the Twitter Tools plugin because the blog was not accessible from the time the first post was published until I disabled Twitter Tools. And during that time the Shared Items Plugin published and published and published...

    For me it's continously posting twice. Both entries have the same permalink (!).

    This has multi-posted for the last 4 days in a row. The SimplePie Error fix previously mentioned in another thread did not fix this issue.

    Honestly this is the last straw, I del'd the plugin. It's a great idea, may try it again if/when you update it.
