How can an advertiser leverage "Specialized Numbers" in his campaign? If you enter a Vehicle ID Number as a search query (for example, “Jh4na1157mt001832”), Google recognizes this as a VIN, and a Carfax ad displays. How can I create an ad that displays when the search query is a VIN – without having to include “VIN” as part of the query? Obviously Carfax does not have a keyword list including every VIN. Any insight would be appreciated.

hi jgiampa,
I would assume carfax does have a very large list of vin numbers, if not all vin numbers.
a vin is also a special numbers search at google which means it is based on the format of the number itself so if you create a number in the proper vin format it should get the same display at google

Hi Tutor. You're probably right about Carfax having a huge database of VIN's. I would just think that since Google has the capability of identifying a number-string as a VIN (or FED-EX Tracking Number, etc.), that they would enable advertisers to leverage that.
I do appreciate your feedback!
