Images would be nice as would many other things, but this was really intended to simply list the links you liked in Google Reader. More than that and it gets complicated quickly which I would like to avoid.

Glad you like it though, and I will think through new options like images when we get around to updating the plugin!

Hello,
I'd like to argue in favour of including the images in the posts.
My opinion is as follow
- Images are a content, just like text. So it makes sense not to differentiate them.
- In most cases not having the image makes it almost impossible to understand the post because the post is actually about the image
- Google reader is already republishing the content in full, having it elsewhere is the same.
- A long page of text is just not digest
- If (and only if) the source and author are mentioned it is actually promoting them, which is a good thing
- Having the images will make your plugin and our Google reader replication more successful
- etc

Let me know your thoughts
Thanks for creating that plugin

Hi Kim,

The plugin itself doesn't use styles at all, it just outputs the html so any styling you are seeing should be due to your own CSS.

I hope this helps!

Is there anyway to publish images from my shared items rather then just the title and description? Not sure if it's possible but I basically would like the post to appear as it does here - http://www.google.co.uk/reader/shared/14842648874386324410

Cheers
Pete

Sorry for the double post.

Google Search and Reader for me, adding RSS feeds and reading them all on one page is great. Ohyeah, youtube is cool too.

I'd have to say Gmail, although I could easily list Google Reader, Search and iGoogle there as well. I also get a lot of use out of Chrome, although Firefox is still my main browser.

I have yet to see how useful the Google Webmaster Tools and Analytics services are though.

God yes Reader is a life saver and I prefer to pick up my feeds via that medium then any other.

However living without Gmail is like losing my cell phone with all of the phone numbers and such on it; irreplaceable.

So it would appear that I am at a stalemate. Can I have two favorites?

On second thought; without Google search I'd be building craptastic websites as a terrible webmaster. I'd have to say that my vote would have to be with what pays the bills therefore hats off to Google search; without it I'd not likely be doing what I am doing for as long as I've been doing it.

I think I'm a Google slave as I use so much of their stuff. Fave is probably Chrome as I use it all the time but then Adsense pays me a decent income and I use GMail, hmmm. Also thinking of getting a G1.

Gmail is by far the best mail client I have ever used. The seamless integration with GoogleCal and Docs and Reader and Picasa makes it all the better.

I recently found this nice app for backing up Gmail http://www.googletutor.com/forums
