Find and Shop For the Best Airfares On Your Android With OnTheFly

OnTheFly isn’t a new app. It has been available for iOS and Android for sometime now, and was developed by ITA software which was purchased by Google and Google has been using their software to create interesting products like Google Flight Search.

Google recently upgraded the OnTheFly Android app and introduced the version 2.1 with new and better features.

The new version of the app makes searching for flight fares easier. It has a date search option that lets the user search for lowest airfares over a period of next 35 days and hence helps them decide travel dates accordingly.

The new version also has a way to help users save their search history and itineraries which makes it easy to refer to them later when needed.

When it comes to searching for lowest airfares, this might well be the best app out there but unfortunately it does not allow booking which makes it a bit inconvenient. I am hoping Google introduces booking through the app too. That’d certainly make it a killer app for frequent air travelers.
