Edit Google Doc on the Go
It’s amazing how much more productive your workload can get by using Google Docs. Part of being productive is being able to do anything at just about any time and from any location. The guys over at Google want you to get as much done as possible. So, in an effort to make things a little easier, they’ve launched a new documents editor.
This new Google Docs editor works from anywhere you need it to. So, if you want to remember a set-list of a concert you’re attending, go ahead and make your notes. If you need to work on an important memo do it on your morning train commute. Or maybe you need to finish up a last-minute proposal but also have to attend your daughter’s softball game; go ahead! How cool can you get?
They’ve made it really easy to get started, just visit the Google Docs website in any browser on a supported device and you’re on your way. You can easily select the document you want to edit on the go. While you’re viewing that document, all you need to do is hit the Edit button and it will switch to the mobile editor.
Over the next couple of days you’ll start to see the new editor roll out to English-language users on iOS devices with version 3.0+ as well as the iPad. It will also be available on Android with Froyo version 2.2. Other languages are soon to follow.
