Browse Android Apps in the Online Android Market
If you are an Android phone user, then you would be delighted to know that sometime ago, Google launched the online version of the Android market. It’s like an Android apps directory from where you could choose and install both free and paid apps.
The online version of the Android market can be seen at market.android.com. The interface is neat, and you can quickly start browsing through the apps.

On your left (i.e on the right of the page), you’ll find a long list of app categories. All kinds of categories are available. Games, Business, Communication, Entertainment…you name it and you’ll find it in that list.

The apps on the homepage are divided into 3 sections – Featured, Top Paid and Top Free. There’s an install or buy button under each of them. The cool thing here is that you can see apps irrespective of where you are located in the world unlike the Android market app on your phone which only shows apps that’s available in your location.

There’s also a section of best selling apps which helps you decide the apps you might want to install. Like, in the screenshot below, you can see a listing of the best selling games.

Another good thing about this market is that you’ll find apps for all versions of Android. So whether it’s Eclair, Froyo or Gingerbread, you’ll find the ones that suit you. Check it out and tell us what you think about it.
