If I were to choose one game which has become a true worldwide phenomenon in the recent past and has touched millions of hearts, I would without any hesitation put my finger on Angry Birds.

Even if you have never owned an iPhone, iPad or any iOS device, I am sure you have heard about this game. It is a really simple yet quite addictive game. You basically need to put the birds on a slingshot and hit the green pigs who stole their eggs (and that’s why the birds are angry).

The good news is that the game is now available on Chrome..for free! Yes, you just need to add Angry Birds app available on the Chrome web store and you are good to go. You could also visit chrome.angrybirds.com to get started.

Once you have it added from the web store, it should appear on your Chrome’s new tab page.

You can go with the HD version if you have got really good broadband speed and bandwidth.

Once you select the version, it asks you to hit the play button.

Finally, you’ve got the birds on a slingshot waiting to be targeted at those pigs!

Considering that Chrome web store is now available worldwide, each one of you reading this post, no matter where you are, can add it from the web store and start playing.

Keep in mind that this browser based version of the game is currently in beta and you might find it a bit slow, and not as smooth as the app on iPhone or iPad. Other than that, it’s really a great way to have some fun now and then.

The link “Angry Birds app” leads to the Angry Birds Theme, not the game. The correct link for the game is this: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/aknpkdffaafgjchaibgeefbgmgeghloj?hl=en
