Google and Yahoo! have partnered together and Google will begin hosting the YUI! libraries.

This is really important for one primary reason: choose the content delivery network (CDN) you like more.

A CDN is a system that will geo-target your visitors and provide them with the closest datacenter to provider a faster loading file. It’s important to have a great CDN because the better your CDN, the better your site, the faster it loads, and more people are going to want to come back.

Google is already hosting a number of great JavaScript libraries for you to choose from if to have Google host them for you (utilizing their CDN.)

A huge congrats to Google for getting legal permission from Yahoo! to help create an even-more complete collection of hosted libraries.
