Google has some great election day resources available for you to use whether you are researching the presidential candidates, looking for your polling place, or watching as election night unfolds.

Google Politics Mobile Your starting point is the Google 2008 U.S. Election page.  You can jump right in to find voting information on the candidates for the presidential and congressional races, or look up your official voting location if you haven’t cast your ballot yet.  There is even a mobile version of the site you can use on-the-go.

On the right-hand side of the page you will find useful reference links pointing to YouTube video clips, Google Earth datasets, quotes from candidates, Google Reader blog links from political power readers, and more.  However, one of the coolest links points to the variety of election maps that Google has pulled together for the election.

The actual widget (this is a screenshot) will be updated live as the polls start closing and results come in.  You can add this and all the other maps to your iGoogle page too!  So, now you have no reason to be undecided.  Head out and vote, then come back and follow the results with Google!
