Yeah, I really wish it was opened up for additions. I just bought the Android and it is great! Had an iPhone for a bit, but open source customization just can’t be topped.

Another great tool for accessing gmail on a mac is Mailplane. It acts as a shell for gmail, allowing for simultaneous logins on several gmail accounts. It also allows for simple drag & drop of files (images, zip, docs, etc) for attachments. I use this program EVERY day and love it more and more. Check it out:
