How-to stop annoying all your friends with the horrific editing on YouTube

I’m sure you’ve received as many of these as I have — the “Holy Sh*t!, LMAO, OMG, You have to see this” video that one of your pseudo friends thinks is the best thing to ever happen on the internet superhighway.
Problem: it is only funny for about 3 seconds after 4:14 minutes in.
But you don’t know that, no… of course the sender didn’t think so share that info!!
You are now stuck in video hell. For 4:14 minutes.
Burning your eyes out of your head, numbing your brain, doing nothing but dying as you sit there… waiting for the funny.

Video sending etiquette dictates that the sender should have told you (and the other 800 people on the to: line) to skip forward to 4:14, but we know how that goes - friends would rather waste 55+ hours of everyone’s time than stop and add a few extra words to their email.

We can’t expect to fix all our family and friends video sending habits, but we can stop spreading the headache by using a new free service called Splicd.
What does Splicd do?
What Splicd does is set a YouTube videos time markers exactly where you want them (where the funny is) so you can then send out a link to the video that starts and ends right where the magic happens. No more waiting, wondering …or mindlessly dying.
Save a friend, give it a try.
