Google Calendars on your website
I think this feature really sets Google Calendar high above the competition. It elevates the usability from “just for you” to “with the community”. Are you running a website that needs to display a calendar of events easily? You can do it with the Google Calendar. Check out these simple steps to make your website more informative for your visitors.
Here’s how to embed your calendar on your website:
Step 1: In the calendar list on the left, click the down-arrow next to the calendar you want to embed, and select Calendar settings. (Alternatively, click the Settings link at the bottom of the calendar list, then click the name of the calendar.)

Step 2: Copy the iframe code displayed in the ‘Embed This Calendar’ section.

Step 3: Paste this code into your website to embed your calendar. If you’re using Microsoft Frontpage or DreamWeaver, remember to paste the embed codes in “code view”.
If you’re a webmaster, you can quickly see how you can fashion a frame to wrap around Google Calendar’s i-frame. Just a simple PSD slice strategy with the Google Calendar sweetly positioned in the middle will do the trick.

Hello,
i embedded my google calendar on my website. The problem is that i have no “Search my calendars” textbox/button on my embedded calendar, so public visitor cannot search through my events for keywords.
I do have that feature when i log in to my Google calendar.
I want to make it available for public users visiting my websuite also. Is that possible?
thanks, Johan
