Google Analytics Tip: How to change graph views
I’ve been using Google Analytics for over 2 years now. It so rocks
that I’ve been using it for ALL the websites I develop and maintain. My clients have been enjoying periodical reports sent to them by email depicting how their websites’ perform over time. SO valuable that I can literally track down click trends and visit behavior. Unfortunately I haven’t explored much of this great tool. The ones I’ve been using are enough… for now.
Google Analytics is an online facility for obtaining traffic analysis of your website. Originally developed for their Adwords PPC advertising it has now been extended and made available to all sites. Operation requires a Google account and the addition of a piece of JavaScript tracking code to all pages of your site that you wish to have information about.
Let me give you a short easy tip on how to change graph views:
STEP 1. Login to your google analytics account.
STEP 2. Choose the site report you’d like to view

STEP 3. Choose the page report you’d like to view

STEP 4. Click the Dashboard link

STEP 5. Now choose which report format you like… day, weekly, monthly

Changing graph views are really helpful. Specially if you have lots of data to track. You can even view graphs of data that are more than a month… I’d be teaching you how to do that on the next Google Analytics tip so be watchin’.
