Gmail introduces exciting new security feature
Just a few minutes ago, the official Gmail blog published a post where it introduced the remote sign out and sessions details features in Gmail. Both the features will help in tightening the security of your Gmail account which might contain very important data.
Here’s what the new features look like-
1. Suppose that you signed in to Gmail at another computer and you’re not sure if you properly logged out of your Gmail account at the first computer. Now this could pose a security threat if the first computer was a public computer and someone else gets hold of that open gmail account. Hence to tackle this, now Gmail will have a new information in the footer indicating if the account is open at any other location and the corresponding I.P address of that location.

2. The footer will also contain an account activity details tab which when clicked will show you the recent activity on your account and also let you sign out of all the other sessions if any, in just one click.

Overall I think this could be a very useful feature, especially for those who work in Gmail on multiple computers. The Gmail team is still in the process of rolling out this feature and you should get it soon in your Gmail.

Satya- It will show automatically. The Gmail team is still rolling it out. So may take sometime, probably 3-4 days.
