I usually save my friends’ online Picasa albums as my favorites. For me, this is a neat way to keep tabs on what’s happening with them. A birthday party, an eat out, a special ball, vacation pictures, work pictures, or just photos taken for fun. I’m sure they’d be sharing them all. Picasa is such a useful tool in bringing people closer!

Last week, a friend brought his son to a Star Wars convention in Australia. He took hundreds of photos, uploaded them all for us to see. Ah, while I love browsing every one I’d like to skim thru most of them and just show the most interesting pics in full show.

This tip is for people who have a lot of pictures safely stored on their picasa account. It’s also for those who know people (and have marked them as picasa favorites) who really have hundreds of photos online too.

Here’s a quick way of changing the thumbnail views of a picasa account:

1. Log-in into your picasa account by using your Gmail username and password.

2. When you’re viewing a page that has lots of photos. Look for the Size selection tool at the right side of the page, as shown below (its normal setting is in the middle):

3. If you want to see more pictures in the page, just click the first option as shown below (notice the size of the thumbnails decreasing):

4. If you want to see big copies/rendition of the photos, just click the third option as shown below (again, notice the size of the thumbnails changing):
