Google Docs releases free uploading tool

Google Docs and Spreadsheets has released a nifty little tool to upload new files to your Google DS account.
After downloading the tool, you just have to double-click it and the application starts working right away. You don’t have to install anything on your computer to make this work. So this would be an excellent tool to have on your USB stick if you upload files to Google Docs from various computer locations.
When you open it for the first time, you will be asked to log in and afterwards, the list of files currently stored in your Google Docs account will be shown :

You can then go to the file location on your PC and drag it into the main window. It will then be instantly uploaded to your Google account.
Or, as the screenshot also shows, you can enable a feature that will add a “Send to Google Docs” option in your Windows Explorer right-click menu :

Both options work equally well.
I think I will find myself using this tool quite often as it often becomes quite a hassle going to the Docs website and using their cumbersome and clunky uploading tool. Now all that I need is for Google DS to offer Adobe PDF document support and I am all set!

Is this available for Mac? If not, when will it be!??
Doesn’t work for me. All attempts to upload fail with errors. Wake me when it’s beta.
Plus, I find it really odd that they’d add a right-click dialog for Window Explorer. Isn’t the idea for people to get away from their local office suite? I thought software plus services was Microsoft’s bag.
