Viewing TV show trivia on Google Maps
If you’re a big fan of TV shows then you will find these Google maps interesting.
Choosing from shows such as Lost, American Idol, and Grey’s Anatomy (amongst others), you can find show trivia displayed on the Google map such as shooting locations, places mentioned in the show, hometowns of the cast and much more.
There doesn’t seem to be any clear indication whether these maps have been made by show fans, by Google or by the TV production companies. Nevertheless, this is quite a clever marketing tactic to maintain interest in the shows while they are on hiatus due to the writers strike.
