Take a webcam picture with Google Talk
Google Talk has rolled out a small feature which allows you to update your chat picture with one taken from your webcam.
This feature is especially good if you are normally struggling to find a decent picture of yourself for your avatar or if you simply don’t have a digital camera to put your photos on your PC. Now just pose for your webcam and have the picture uploaded directly to your Google Talk.
It only works however for the website version of Google Talk. As usual, the standalone app has been completely bypassed - again.
