When I open a contact and then open the drop down menu I don't see my entire group list, nor the option to "remove from" the group. It seems it only displays a certain amount and then is cut off.

Have others encountered this problem and is there a way to fix it or get around it?

Thanks.

As to your first question, there is no way (in my knowledge) to force Gmail to choose a particular email address for a contact. All you can do is set up separate profiles for each email address so if your friend was Joe Smith, you would set up JoeSmith1, JoeSmith2, etc, each with their own email address.

Question 2 - if you start typing the name of a contact in the email "to :" box, all the listed email addresses for that person should come up. Just choose one at a time.

Most of my contact have multiple email address, say email1 (default),
email2 (work), email3 (home) and email4 (other). I have added the
particular contact to a group. When I compose an email for the group,
by default the (default) ID of the contact gets chosen for receiving
the email. Is there anyway to make gmail select the work ID of the
contact when composing the mail for the group?

Also, on the same lines, is it possible to send email to all the IDs
of a particular contact by selecting the name of the contact. As of
now I can select only one ID to compose. Any additional IDs that I
have to add into TO or CC have to be manually typed in.

Pls advice
