I changed recently my laptop and bought Office 2007 with outlook 2007. The transfer doesn't work goed anymore; I got the phone number in the name field ! With Outlook 2003, matching of field were done automatically without any manual intervention. With Outlook 2007, wrongly done and the contact list in Gmail is no more 'usable' :-( I did it easely between Outlook 2003 and Gmail.

All I can suggest is that you try again in a few days as perhaps there may have been a glitch in Gmail.
