karcahige.pngHere’s a Wacky Friday story. Google Earth has now found its way into the courtroom. A Pakistani lawyer sprung a novel defense in a property dispute - by showing the disputed area in Google Earth.

Ogle Earth has a good summing up of the case and here is the Pakistani newspaper article (which is filled with rather strange English). But it seems that instead of surveyors doing this kind of work, judges may now be peering at a computer screen instead.

What would Perry Mason think?! Imagine a Perry Mason episode where the investigator runs into the courtroom at the last minute with the incriminating evidence - a laptop with Google Earth installed.
