Does anyone know if GoogleTalk lets you use a webcam to see your friends on line?

Please let me of anything. I would like to use only one email address for both chatting and video calls, etc..

Thanks,

I already use Pidgin but I am not that keen on it. I would love to be able to access all my IM networks through Google Talk. Of course that is the ideal world and we all know we don't live in the ideal world!!! ;-)

They just integrated a light AIM client, they didn't merge the AIM and Google Talk networks. Just because AOL bought ICQ and merged those two doesn't mean any of the other IM protocols will start merging together.

If you want an all-in-one app, get pidgin, but don't hold your breath for any networks to merge!

I have AIM in GMail, and boy am I happy! This is a huge addition to Google's portfolio, and adds about 35% to their marketshare in the IM market... no need for meebo anymore!
