Easy Software Installation with Google Pack

Google Pack is simply a collection of free downloadable software that is specially chosen by Google for their users. The software included in Google pack were all chosen with the goal of helping users make the most out of their computers. The pack contains software both developed by Google and other companies and is guaranteed to be virus and spy-ware free. Google Pack enables users to download, install and update all the included software conveniently and without worrying about security issues.
To be able to download Google Pack all you need to do is check the boxes corresponding to the all the software you wish to install in your computer. You need not download and install everything but only the ones you know you will need. After choosing, click on the Download Google Pack button and Google Updater, the program that downloads and installs software in Google Pack for you, will do the rest of the work. 
To check on the status of the download/installation just click on the Google Updater icon, which will automatically appear on your system tray. After all the software you chose have been installed you will need to restart your computer. In case there are any software updates Google Updater will notify you.
Google Updater is compatible with Windows XP and Vista only. Since Google Updater is not Mac compatible, Mac users need to download each software in the Google Pack one at a time. Google Software for Mac that are available for download are Google Notifier, Google Desktop, Google SketchUp, Picasa Web Albums Uploader, Google Earth, and Gogle Toolbar. Those using 64-bit Windows and Linux have to wait until Google releases a compatible version. This isn’t too far in the future for those using 64-bit Windows but less likely to materialize for Linux.
