Dogs ok, but cats are not allowed at Google

As you might imagine I read the Official Google Blog just about everyday, and last week I was particulary interested since they were posting about their recent Dog Day and what a success it was.

I’m a dog lover myself and although the pampering was a bit much for me, I thought it was a pretty neat thing for Google to do for their employees. And it was a success so I figured a Cat Day must be right around the corner, oh how wrong I was.

As it turns out, cats are not allowed anywhere near Google!! Wow, I’m thinking the cat lovers are not going to be too happy about this one.

    That’s make me sad too. I am kinda more cat person, but not dislike dogs. I only like toy dog :D

    Well, thats just not right now, is it??(Would you call that feline discrimination???) And I agree with you, cat owners will probably be a bit unhappy about this….

    What about the people that have a phobia about dogs which I believe is a larger proportion of the population.

    I used to own dogs, but I’ve always loved cats and for one reason or the other I’ve never been able to have ‘em at home. Then I moved to the countryside and I found three puppies in my garden. It was love at first sight on both sides. Now I couldn’t live without ‘em.

    I also worked for a TV station whose manager was scared to death by dogs, so I can understand Sergey’s point of view, althoug I cant’t share it…

    Backup in Gmail ac. I don’t think at any point of time, both the gmail a/c and backup gmail a/c will face a problem, esp when its Google service.
