Change The Look of Your Google Personalized Homepage
Is your Google Personalized Homepage boring? I’ve always been a fan of Google’s straightforward interface and look. That sole search box has always been a welcoming site. But maybe not all of you would agree with me. Sometimes the web could use a little spicing up. And if you’re using Google Personalized Homepages as your start page, you can do just that.
You can now change the look and feel of your Google Homepage, choosing among several standard selections. And Google will even automatically change the appearance of your Homepage depending on your local time and season!
Just log in at www.google.com/ig. If you’re already signed in to Gmail or any other Google service, you will automatically be led to your personalized homepage. Just check the upper right part of the page to check if it’s your email address signed in.
Look for the Select theme link.

When you click that, a theme selection box will expand.

Choose the theme of your liking and click. Google will now apply that look and feel onto your personal site. The header will change according to the time of day and season locally.

I started using the “Sweet Dreams” theme a couple days ago. The change is subtle, but the variety is nice.
Nearly all the themes have an easter egg when you view them at 3:14am local time! Pi power!
I am off to check this one out now.
Toodle Pip.
Done it now, that was easy to do and it looks much better now. I chose the tea house.
Cheers
As always, informative stuff. Keep it coming.
Sorry,it’s still boring and generic. And they MUST ramp up the weather gadgets — I’ve had MSN international multiple location weather for years, what’s the big deal. Some of us want to know the weather in the Caribbean, Central America, Sicily!
The right hand column of my Personalized Home Page will no longer hold any Add On. How do I fix it?
