Is Gmail a Killer App?

Steve Ruble has a great post today on turning Gmail into your personal nerve center that might make you think that it is -

The piece is well done with all kinds of useful tips and tricks for Gmail. The only thing stood out to me as really holding Gmail back from truly being able to be “your personal nerve center” is that most people don’t have the time or skill to do all the setup Steve does!

It’s cool once you get there, but average Joe surfer won’t be doing much of that. What would be a killer app is doing much of what Steve describes in one easy to use solution. I mean, I got tired just reading Steve’s long post
