Share Your Personalized Google News

I just noticed this recently when browsing through my personalized Google News. Apparently, you can also share your personalized Google News layout. This way, your friends can check out what topics and publications you’re reading on Google News. It’s as simple as a few clicks.

First, go to the bottom part of the personalized Google news page and look for this link:

Click it and a URL for sharing will appear.

Simply copy the URL and send to your friends (via email, instant messaging, etc.), and they will also get to view Google News as you see it, complete with layout and even custom searches you may have incorporated on your personalizations.

Don’t worry about privacy issues. Your username will not appear. So you can make this URL public and let other people see the news from your perspective, so to speak.

Also, this particular URL would be for that particular customization only. Once you change layout or add different custom keywords, the URL will change.
