Google Earth Download

I haven’t spent much time with Google Earth yet, but it looks very interesting. Google released beta 4 a few weeks back and I’m downloading it now to check it out.

For those that don’t know what Google Earth is:

Google Earth puts a planet’s worth of imagery and other geographic information right on your desktop. View exotic locales like Maui and Paris as well as points of interest such as local restaurants, hospitals, schools, and more.

  • Fly from space to your neighborhood. Type in an address and zoom right in.
  • Search for schools, parks, restaurants, and hotels. Get driving directions.
  • iTilt and rotate the view to see 3D terrain and buildings.
  • Save and share your searches and favorites. Even add your own annotations.

If you want to kick the tires as well, the easiest way to download Google Earth is via the Google Pack.

    I’ve been trying to download Google earth so many times but it’s been imposible for me to get it and the same has happened to a lot of friemds of mine ? can you send me srep by step instruction to downlad it with maps and other options that can only be seen but that can not get then towork with.?
    I’m trying to get it because as an electrical eng I need to find sources of water to develop hidroelectric projects for our poor country that can not keep buying oil for power generation based on fuel eating systems and our goal is to develop small hidroelectric plants to feed energy to small villages that are too far away to be connected to the normal distribution systems by high cost power transmision lines that our goberment can not afford and besides the small villages are not elligible to get power from our main system and they can not develop any kind of way to get out of total poverty.

    I have been using Google Earth. By a mistake I put the moon in place of earth. No matter how many times I download the Google earth, the moon does not disappear. Please help me.

    I have been usin Google Earth for about 1 year and its a very helpful tool for bidding projects. I am located in MN and when I cross the boarder into IA. the quality of the photo gets very bad. Is there something I need to do to enable to clairity of the iowa maps, & surrounding states? Please let me know

    It is one of the best softwares on net , i have been using it for over two years now and have benefittes out of it a lot. I am from pakistan It is requested that latest images with 1 meter resolution may be loaded.

    i have no problems downloading google earth but my pc flashes a warning about a shared dll. that has been allocated to a windows file – “C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll.” can anyone help me as i’d love to use google earth…..?

    any help would be greatly appreciated…

    I have google earth on my system and have been trying to update to the new 4.1 version to have access to the sky version but it locks up on me. Any possible solutions?

    I keep downloading the New Google Earth with no problems until it is time to run the application itself. When I get a message that the download is complete and it gives me an option to Run Google Earth I click on the Run Google Earth button and nothing happens. I click on the desktop icon and nothing happens. Can anyone help me? I’ve downloaded from several web sites and still get the same problem.
